Spend a relaxing day in Valašské Meziříčí, a gateway to the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains.
In the historic centre, you can visit the 19th century Empire-style Kinský Castle with an interactive exhibition of the Museum of Moravian Wallachia. You can also visit the Baroque Žerotín Chateau, which is about 1.1 km away. The ground floor and the second floor host exhibitions; on the first floor you can see historical rooms and a permanent exhibition dedicated to the origins of the town and the history of the Žerotín (Zierotin) family (tour length: about 60 minutes)
The Chapel Gallery and the Granary Gallery are located on the premises. The Living Tapestry Museum is just 300 meters away. Here you can get a glimpse of the atmosphere of traditional craftsmanship and, upon prior arrangement, try your hand at carpet weaving (approx. 60 minutes).
