Hundreds of kilometres of densely woven trails make East Moravia a true paradise for cyclists and in-line skaters. You can go on easy trips through the valley, on mountain trails or on trails through the picturesque countryside. For adrenaline riders, the region also offers a number of attractive bike parks, skate parks and ovals with special surfaces designed for inline skaters. Among the most famous cycle paths is the nearly 160-kilometre-long Bečva cycle path in Wallachia. It will take you from the mountain springs of the Bečva River and the unique Wallachian architecture to the flat Haná. Other trails for cyclists and inline skaters can be found along the Bata Canal. Lovers of good wine and gastronomy will appreciate the popular Moravian Wine Trails in Slovácko. The long-distance international cycle path BEVLAVA, on the other hand, will take you through the beautiful landscape of the Moravian-Slovak border region.
From the springs of Rožnovská and Vsetínská Bečva to the confluence with the Moravia, you have the opportunity to get to know the sights, natural beauties, folk traditions and local specialities of Wallachia, Moravská brána and Haná. Safe and comfortable trails following the Bečva river are perfect for cyclists and in-line skaters, and can also be used by wheelchair users, hikers and Nordic skiers in winter.
Thanks to the undemanding terrain with minimal elevations, the bike trail, which is more than 80 km long, is ideal for families with children, seniors and skaters. The backbone trail is followed by routes in the area, including the Moravian Wine Trails. You can ride one way by bike and go back on a cruise ship or embark with a bike on a houseboat and combine cruising with rides along the Baťa Canal and the surrounding area.
The long-distance international bike trail will take you through the landscape of the Moravian-Slovak border. 35 kilometres await for you with a connection to the Bečva Bike Trail and the Vážská Bike Route. Thanks to the mild profile of the route, the BEVLAVA bike trail can be enjoyed by families with children as well as active seniors. Interesting circuits and off-road rides are offered for active cyclists.
A cycling resort that boasts the three BESTS in the Czech Republic: the oldest, largest and most comprehensive. You can find all this in the area from Vsetín to Velká Karlovice between the ridges of the Vsetín Beskydy and Javorníky mountains. A full-on cycling experience.
